JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Filippelli Institute in the College of the Liberal Arts is seeking a temporary, part-time graphic artist for the Spring 2026 semester.

The person in this position will collaborate with instructional technologists and instructional designers to revise course-related multimedia elements to make them accessible according to the WCAG 2.1, Level AA guidelines.

Specific responsibilities include: Redoing and editing course graphics to improve color contrast and resolution. Requires advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Illustrator and Photoshop.

The individual must be receptive to feedback and maintain visual consistency with existing course elements. Knowledge of accessibility is preferable but not required.

Candidates must be able to work as a member of a team and be able to track work and manage multiple projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
