The Role

The Director of US Business Information Services is a critical position supporting the US Market functional teams.  This role will be responsible for supporting and driving the strategy for all US data, platforms, and applications focused on the US Market Team as well as Digital Operations.  In collaboration with internal and external partners, this position will provide leadership through an innovative and forward-thinking approach to support information procurement, data strategy, and platform solutions across areas including, the field ecosystem of applications such as business intelligence, CRM, digital content repository, and omnichannel support.

Responsibility

  • Evaluate the landscape of responsibilities and structure Business Information Services team (BIS) to function optimally in support of the US Market functions.
  • Focus on strategy, best practices, and innovative approaches in support of fundamental information procurement, master data management, sales force automation, business intelligence, and omnichannel, supporting the US Market
  • Collaborate/coordinate with internal IT and external partners to effectively deliver all core business intelligence, field-supporting processes, platforms, applications, portals, and systems.
  • Provide US Market team members with a key contact point for solution development, optimizations, requirement gathering, and thereafter translation and coordination to other key teams at Genmab, such as IT or core external partners, focused on technology and key data asset dissemination across the organization.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on ecosystem integrations with focus on end-to-end completeness and efficient processes when working with internal and external partners.
  • Provide recommendations to support and create efficiencies in Omnichannel operations
  • Maintain high value on “user experience/user interface” UX/UI as key resources are developed and deployed to internal and external customers.
  • Active involvement of fundamental processes supporting the US business including source file management, business data stewardship for master data management, field roster, etc.
  • Oversee development, deployment, and training of field-based sales force automation, CRM, portals/applications, and other systems and processes identified as the organization and scope of BIS services expands.
  • Maintain Business Information Services (BIS) team as first-line contact for field team inquiries for applicable platforms, systems, applications, etc.

Requirements

  • 12 years of professional experience, preferably supporting life science organizations required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Oncology experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and train team members required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication required.  This includes communicating technical and non-technical related concepts to all levels of the organization including the executive level.
  • Strong understanding of data management required
  • Strong understanding of life sciences data sets including specialty pharmacy, specialty distributor, chargeback, medical claims, third-party media, and other syndicated data available.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple functions across the entire spectrum of a business unit including Medical Affairs, Compliance, Field Sales, Marketing, Market Access/Trade, and Finance.
  • Proven CRM experience and understanding of sales force marketing cloud is required
  • Proven in-depth knowledge of field sales, field training, and field operations is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to problem solve, remain flexible, situational adaptability, and multi-tasking while high focus on executing job on requirements and deliverables a must.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, and prioritize for self and team a must.

Where you will work: The role is hybrid – 3 days in our Princeton, NJ office.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$176,250.00---$293,750.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
