About the Role & Team 

 

This role is responsible for overseeing the timely and high‑quality delivery of content and broadcast materials across linear and non‑linear services for assigned clients, channels, and markets. It requires a strong customer‑focused approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment, while ensuring service level agreements are consistently met through close collaboration with your manager and team. You will support the team manager by coaching colleagues, leading internal meetings, and working closely with senior stakeholders, while maintaining strong cross‑departmental relationships to support operational and supply chain needs. A proactive approach to developing technical knowledge and staying aligned with industry trends is essential, alongside delivering delegated projects and initiatives within Content Service Delivery.

 

This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do 

  • To supervise the delivery of content and broadcast materials to service levels of excellence for the business in line with the Quality Management System and team standards to ensure team delivery is On Time and Right First time is maintained

  • Use technical expertise to choose the most cost-effective, high-quality means of servicing and supporting the business with a continuous improvement mind-set

  • Regularly communicate with teams, vendors, delivery endpoints, partners and lines of business to understand their technology and touch points for our deliveries

  • Contribute to the team, and collaborate on specific projects and opportunities to improve workflows demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset

  • Provide support to the Team Manager, including coaching the team, training and working with senior stakeholders as required

  • Deputise in the absence of the Manager

  • Liaise with internal teams to negotiate the replacement deliverables, allowing adequate lead time to re-process and meet required deadlines

  • Supervise all current workflow and ensure the agreed processes and tasks are performed

  • Oversee the assurance of component delivery performance and quality by team members of all core tasks with an adherence to business rules

  • Liaise with Operations supply chain

  • Liaise with Content Customer Services team, Content Management & Localization team, Burbank or Vendors to resolve material rejections and co-ordinate repair work and replacement materials

  • Provide support to Clients and Vendors in the use of Disney and 3rd Party systems

 

Required Qualifications & Skills  

  • Proven relevant experience at Operations Supervisor / Executive level

  • Proven demonstratable experience within Media Networks / Media Operations department as well as excellent knowledge of broadcast systems, product and workflows relating to linear and non-linear delivery workflows

  • Experience of file based and High-Definition technology and electronic delivery

  • Excellent administrative experience and project management skills essential

  • Experience of managing people an advantage

  • Ideally education to degree level or equivalent

  • Problem solving, solution oriented and creative thinking

  • Ongoing interest and understanding of broadcast technology
