The Impact:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and automating infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams.
As a proactive team player, you focus on maintaining the cloud infrastructure free from vulnerabilities and implementing infrastructure-as-code and automation, while being responsible and autonomous in your tasks. You are open to collaboration, eager to listen, and ready to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In this role, you will work in an enthusiastic team dedicated to supporting our critical technology systems, guiding business partners and end users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long-term value for our customers.

Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and optimize resource utilization across services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Batch, StepFunction, SNS, SQS, and Dynamodb etc.
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate software builds, tests, and deployments.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the production environment.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services like autoscaling, compute machine size and implement alert and notification system to identify issues proactively.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment processes to safeguard sensitive data.
Work in a supportive environment that embraces training, learning, and growth.
Enhance application security measures and implement best practices to protect sensitive information.
Take ownership of infrastructure projects from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives from a platform engineering perspective.
Support and enhance existing platform capabilities to meet ongoing business requirements.
Experience: 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, AWS Security Engineering, or related roles.
AWS Proficiency: Excellent hands-on proficiency with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Batch, API gateway, Step functions, Cloudwatch Security Groups, SNS, SQS, RDS etc) and infrastructure templating using Terraform.
Database Management: Experience maintaining database servers, specifically RDS and Dynamodb.
Operating Systems: Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems, including containerization strategies.
Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and CloudWatch.
CI/CD Frameworks: Hands-on familiarity with test-driven CI/CD frameworks.
Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
