As a Product Application Engineer, you will be the expert for motion control products and be the primary technical interface of ADI Trinamic to customers in all pre- and post-sales activities and our sales- and field engineering-teams. You will directly support sales managers as the technical expert to secure design wins and manage customer technical support through the design-in phase to the product’s end-of-life. You will establish and maintain close technical ties to all dedicated customer accounts, facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues and identify additional opportunities with existing and new accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as an technical expert and work together with our global sales and field application engineer teams to win designs and grow revenue
  • Design in support to ensure customer’s project success for both hard- and software
  • Support in-depth customer’s technical evaluations and issues remotely and on site to closure Support ADI Trinamic participation at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events with product, technical demos and speeches
  • Write application notes, white papers, and other material for publication
  • Use the Application know how to prepare and conduct (Hands-on) Trainings for customer, colleagues and sales partner
  • Support the knowledge base with reference PCB designs and Firmware
  • Independently support customer success and relationships with regular visits
  • Manage implementation of customer projects
  • Visit prospective customers to demonstrate ADI Trinamic’s patented motion control technologies

Requirements:

  • BS / MS in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Interest in customer-facing experience
  • Strong technical understanding in electronics and preferable in mechatronics
  • Good programming skills in C/C++ and Python
  • skills in schematics and PCB layout
  • Resourceful self-starter who can multi-task and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a true team player
  • Self-motivated, driven and dynamic personality
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally, minimum 30% of time for training sessions, customer visits and exhibitions
  • Driver’s License
