GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads Cleared Derivatives and Post-trade business consulting team and strategy to effectively execute business plan.

• Devises and/or modifies processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies with client scoping’s and other consulting engagements.
• Manage professional services employees to ensure projects are successfully completed. Schedule resources to meet project requirements and develop staff to achieve above average performance.
• Develops consulting offerings to address opportunities.
• Works with key FIS channel relationships such as sales, relationship management, product management, business unit management and others ensuring continued collaboration to drive results for Practice.
• Ensures Practice provides industry thought leadership.
• Works with consulting management team, program/project managers and client relationship managers to identify type of business resources needed. Assembles teams qualified to perform work and financially aligned with project budget and schedule plans. May work closely with program/project manager during project initiation to define scope and understand type, quantity and timing of resources needed.
• Responsible for forecasting and managing/communicating business metrics to senior management.
• Ensures generated revenue meets or exceeds plan for FIS Consulting Services Business.
• Ensures consulting engagements provide excellent client satisfaction and client loyalty.
• Manages consulting personnel including engagement staffing, staff performance/evaluations, effective communication, career planning and succession planning.
• Provides resources with right expertise to meet business needs and manage external relationships creating a flexible staffing alternative for peak demand times.
• Ensures effective utilization of resources on billable projects, asset development, sales support and thought leadership.
• Collaborates with other Consulting Practice Managers to ensure right resources are working on right work to optimize goals for the entire division based on priorities and demand generated.
• Attracts and retains talent to meet business needs for practice.
• Nurtures relationships, defines consulting engagements to support relationship needs and sells the initiative.
• Willing to travel 30% (or as needed).
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or law or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Senior management role. Directs and controls activities of a broad functional area through several Practice managers. Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods. Participates with other senior managers in establishing strategic plans and objectives, makes final decisions on administrative/operational matters and ensures effective achievement of objectives. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the business and/or industry. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization. Typically requires ten years management experience in financial services industry or consulting.
