Hungary CSC Europe Consolidated Reporting Production Lead

The role reports to International Regulatory Reporting Centralized Production and Transformation Lead.

The individual will be part of the International Regulatory Reporting Centralized Production Leadership Team managing and leading a team of 70+ employees in the Budapest Citi Solutions Center.

The job requires experience with and understanding of local regulatory reporting processes and control standards. Experience and proven track record on leading teams and serving multiple internal stakeholders is a key requirement for the role.

What you’ll do:

  • Timely and accurate delivery of financial and prudential reports pertaining to Citibank Europe Plc and Citibank UK Limited
  • Implementation of standard controls with timeliness and completeness, in line with Control Guidelines
  • Timely escalation of issues to appropriate management and stakeholder levels
  • Monitor team capacity, taking necessary precautions to prevent issues due to capacity problems.
  • Lead, sponsor, support initiatives for increasing control quality and production efficiency.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to create a constructive and efficient relationship.
  • Lead the team with focus on diversity and inclusion, effective talent management, open communication and collaboration.
  • Create an environment where effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration is encouraged and praised.

What we’ll need from you:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred;
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Able to analyze and think through complex issues and recommend solutions.
  • Growth mindset and ability to innovate and champion progress for efficiency and productivity.
  • Sense of urgency in implementing processes and controls and evaluating priorities; decisive, action-oriented and practical.
  • Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines.
  • Elevated presentation, communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Ability to work with different levels of management.
  • Ability to develop effective and productive working relationships with a wide range of groups across Citi as well as external auditors and regulators.
