Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

  • Lead and manage nursing teams across partner agencies to ensure alignment with CSI Pharmacy’s standards and goals.
  • Serve as the primary clinical resource for complex patient cases and agency-related escalations.
  • Oversee patient assessments, care planning, and administration of infusion therapies.
  • Promote evidence-based practices and ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are implemented.
  • Develop and implement clinical and operational strategies for agency-based nursing services.
  • Monitor resource utilization, including staffing, scheduling, and supply management.
  • Conduct audits of documentation, practices, and patient outcomes to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate with pharmacy, billing, and administrative teams to streamline workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards (e.g., ACHC).
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff and agency partners.
  • Act as liaison between nursing teams, patients, families, and interdisciplinary stakeholders.
  • Represent the nursing department in organizational meetings and external engagements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and service excellence.
  • Provide constructive feedback and promote team cohesiveness and accountability.
  • Contributes to the maintenance and enhancement of CSI Pharmacy's culture of service, ensuring that all activities align with our core values and mission.
  • Consistently represents the company in a professional manner.
  • Maintains effective working relationships and cooperates with Company personnel.
  • Adheres to the Company’s compliance requirements as stated in the policy and procedure manual and all other related policies.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in home and/or specialty infusion therapy or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong background in quality improvement methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing clinical teams and overseeing regulatory compliance.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
