About the position:

The purpose of the Sr. Product Analyst role is to research customer needs, requirements, and industry trends, take that data, and distill it into actionable ideas for product development.  The ideal candidate will be able to see beyond "what" customers want to discern "why" they want it, and then translate those requirements back to our product and development teams.  While working closely with the head of Product Strategy, the development and architecture departments, and offshore teams, the Sr. Product Analyst will specialize in their own book of products and drive competitive offerings to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make actionable recommendations about product development and backlog prioritization based on a deep understanding of customer journeys, usage data, market research, and the company growth strategy.
  • Document, analyze, and evaluate data with a customer-centric approach, generating detailed user stories that will be the basis for future software development by the Engineering team.
  • Work as a conduit between technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive product development and optimization.
  • Collaborate with the development team and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Proactively drive results-oriented product changes and improvements.
  • Support Product Strategy, User Experience, Architecture leads, and other team members in planning deliverables, defining scope, scheduling, and other aspects of product strategy.
