Position Overview:

As an Insulet SAP S4 Technical Developer, you will be joining a Global ERP team. A SAP ABAP Developer plays a key role in designing, coding, and modifying SAP applications to meet the company's specific requirements. Your main responsibilities will include performing analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting SAP programs, as well as testing and maintaining systems to assure accuracy and efficiency. You'll need to have excellent technical skills in SAP ABAP development, including object-oriented programming, data dictionary, and user-exits/ BADIs. You will also need to work collaboratively with other departments in the organization, such as SAP functional consultants and business analysts. As a SAP ABAP Developer, your job is essential for turning the organization's vision into reality.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and implement solutions with complete technical documentation.
• ABAP development.
• SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration).
• SAP UI5.
• Fiori.
• Familiarity with Hana is advantageous.
• Perform unit & system testing and support UAT and regression testing.
• Ability to develop and analyze problems in programs.
• Regularly communicate with business users and functional team to understand the requirements provided by functional designs or business requirements/use cases and transforms these requirements into the technical designs.
• Adhering to defined development processes, governance & documentation.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organizational technology, processes, and priorities.

Education and Experience:

• A relevant degree such as Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience working with SAP.
• Experience with S/4 HANA desired.
• Experience in performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA and Fiori Developments including expertise in CDS, AMDP and Fiori UI5 developments.
• Extensive technical understanding of SAP Business Suite products, SAP NetWeaver, underlying database technologies, related SAP products.
• Experience developing and with business processes across SAP Modules.
• Specific experience in the following modules is advantageous: IM, Procurement, FI, SD, Manufacturing
• Actively participates in industry communities to continuously expand upon knowledge and improve the standards and awareness of the company’s SAP practices.
