Your Role with Us
As Head of ASB Partnership, you’ll provide strategic leadership across AIA New Zealand’s Bancassurance channel, shaping how we grow sales, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver sustainable value. This is a senior leadership role where your influence extends across national sales performance, executive partnerships, and channel strategy.
You’ll lead a high‑performing national team, work closely with ASB and internal leaders, and champion a unified, customer‑led approach that strengthens AIA’s market presence. Your leadership will directly contribute to our ambition to create Healthier, Longer, Better Lives for our customers and communities.
Your Impact
Lead and execute the Bancassurance strategy, driving sales performance, customer growth, and profitability in line with AIA’s wider Distribution strategy
Strengthen the AIA–ASB partnership through senior executive engagement, governance forums, and strategic collaboration
Build and inspire a high‑performing national sales team, fostering capability, resilience, and a culture of continuous improvement
Drive innovation and digital insurance solutions, developing integrated propositions that meet evolving customer needs
Champion customer, risk, and regulatory excellence, ensuring conduct, compliance, and long‑term value are embedded in everything you do
Your Capabilities
You bring senior leadership experience in sales or distribution, leading large, multi‑channel teams
You have proven experience working at a senior level within the life insurance or financial services sector
You demonstrate strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes
You excel at building influential relationships with executive stakeholders, partners, and industry bodies
You lead with a customer‑led and risk‑aware mindset, balancing growth with regulatory and conduct expectations
It’s great if you also have business or industry‑related qualifications, though this is not essential
