As the Director of Analytics and SEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies, overseeing website analytics, and providing insights that drive business growth. You will work cross-functionally with content teams, strategists, developers, and marketing stakeholders to enhance organic performance, improve search rankings, and optimize website experience through actionable data insights.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and on-page/off-page optimization to enhance performance.
  • Oversee technical SEO initiatives, including site audits, page speed optimization, and structured data implementation.
  • Work with content teams to develop SEO-driven content strategies and best practices.
  • Manage link-building initiatives and establish high-quality backlink opportunities.

Web Analytics & Data Insights

  • Oversee website performance tracking, ensuring accurate reporting via Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and other analytics tools.
  • Develop and implement SEO dashboards, reports, and KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and business impact.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on website performance metrics, user behavior, and A/B testing results.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies across platforms, ensuring clean data collection and integrity.
  • Conduct conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve engagement and lead generation.

Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Lead a team of SEO and analytics specialists, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with marketing, development, UX, and content teams to align SEO best practices with business objectives.
  • Partner with developers to ensure technical SEO implementations align with website architecture.
  • Present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders to drive digital growth.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Experience in SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing.
  • Expertise in SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio).
  • Hands-on experience with CRO, A/B testing, and data visualization tools.
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, schema markup, and website architecture best practices.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Experience in managing large-scale websites, e-commerce platforms, or enterprise-level SEO projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting insights to senior leadership.
  • Experience in AI-driven SEO strategies and automation tools.
  • Understanding of SQL and Python for advanced analytics.
  • Prior experience in leading a team or managing SEO agencies.
  • Knowledge of paid search strategies and their synergy with organic efforts.

The target range of base compensation for this role is $160,000 - $170,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
