The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Investment Analyst / Finance Manager to join our Australia and New Zealand Concessions team. This pivotal role involves conducting comprehensive economic and financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities spanning the entire process from capital raising, origination, and execution of PPP/Project Finance tenders, across a wide range of infrastructure assets.
As a Senior Investment Analyst /Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Asset Management team to maximize the value of assets within our Concessions portfolio. This includes projects in various stages, from construction to operation and maintenance. You will also liaise closely with our Concessions Financial Management Team in Madrid and engage externally with relationship lenders, financial advisors and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Bids and Tenders Modelling: Independently manage the preparation of analysis and bid proposals, including strategy formulation, financial model development and control, and drafting term sheets while collaborating with operations, financial, technical, legal and commercial workstreams and Consortium Advisers.
Corporate Governance: Develop internal financial models for project finance, assess the viability of business opportunities, and support the business development team in managing ACCIONA Concessions equity approvals.
Asset Management: Monitor and value Acciona Concessions' investment portfolio, analyze potential refinancing, rebalancing, valuations, and value enhancements.
Project Financing Support: Collaborate on project financing processes, develop financing structures, review bank term sheets and due diligence documentation including negotiations up to financial close..
Collaboration and Sustainability: Work with respective corporate business units regarding rebalancing, refinancing, and valuation processes and coordinate with ACCIONA’s local and corporate teams to develop Sustainability Linked Loans and Green Financing strategies for tenders and refinancings.
Required Skills and Competencies
Experience in at least one of the following areas: analysis of infrastructure project bids, international project financing, or general financial analysis.
Degree in Economics/Business Administration/Management (or equivalent)
Advanced level in MS Office (advanced level in Excel).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders as all levels.
Taxation experience is highly desirable.
