The Frontline Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales within a designated local geographic area, primarily focusing on small accounts and offering solutions that are less technically complex. The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and positioning appropriate solutions within standard pricing and margin guidelines. This position supports existing customer accounts and contributes to revenue growth through effective service, communication, and sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Engage with small and local accounts to promote and sell products/solutions within defined sales frameworks.
  • Understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions that fit within standard pricing and margin parameters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including end users, to ensure satisfaction and long-term account retention.

Account Management

  • Manage and service existing customer accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates.

Sales Execution

  • Achieve assigned sales targets or quotas in a consistent manner.
  • Collaborate with more experienced sellers or receive direct guidance from the supervisor when needed.
  • Support sales campaigns, promotions, and product initiatives within the region.

Operational & Administrative Duties

  • Prepare and deliver basic sales presentations using standard templates and messaging.
  • Comply with sales processes, policies, and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience, OR
  • Associate degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently within assigned guidelines.
  • Comfortable working with standard pricing models and non‑complex product suites.

Work Environment

  • Local territory-based role requiring regular customer visits.
  • May require working alongside senior sales colleagues for larger opportunities.
