C.H. Robinson is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant in São Paulo to strengthen our compliance and financial integrity in one of the most dynamic tax environments in Latin America. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate management of indirect taxes (ISS, PIS, Cofins, ICMS) and leverage your expertise to optimize processes and support strategic decisions that keep us competitive in a complex regulatory landscape. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Research and suggest responses to changes in tax law, regulations, and guidelines

  • Support process improvement and tax planning initiatives

  • Work independently and initiate, organize, and lead team meetings, working sessions, and project-based check-ins

  • Participate in the preparation of the international tax provision and financial audit

  • Prepare responses for information requests from tax authorities

  • Act as a resource for Legal, Accounting and Treasury to support our business operations and customers

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, taxation, or related field of study

  • Relevant experience in corporate taxation or public accounting

  • Comprehensive understanding of tax law/rules and implications

  • Experience with indirect taxes ISS, PIS, Cofins, and ICMS
     

Preferred:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

  • Fluent in English, written and verbal

  • Experience with Tax One software

  • Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
