medical procedures as needed. We expect our veterinary assistants to be ‘at the ready’ in

the treatment area of our hospital and be proactive in providing help to the technicians

and doctors when a patient enters the treatment area. Patient care comes first; no other

duties should take precedence over patient care All veterinary assistants

should familiarize themselves with the flow of the clinic so they can better help the medical staff and patients. Many of our vet assistants aspire to become registered veterinary technicians or veterinarians – we are here to support you

and help you to learn and grow professionally.
