Who are we hiring?  

The Analyst Business Intelligence will report to the Manager, Business Intelligence and will be part of a team responsible for design and development of an enterprise-wide business intelligence solution. The BI team provides analytical services and solutions to the organization's decision-making process, corporate performance management, and clients. This position will meet frequently with management to discuss needs or requirements and translate into intuitive information dashboards and visualization The analyst will be responsible for the creation of data pipelines and reporting infrastructure, including high-visibility projects related to Consumer Insights and Data Governance.  This is an opportunity to work closely with a team that has a diverse set of data-oriented skills, to develop visualization solutions with data that spans all of MSG’s business units and includes metrics for the Knicks, Rangers, Rockettes, and concerts held in MSG venues, including the Sphere.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about the field of analytics and well versed in all aspects of an enterprise-wide analytics architecture including data integration, data modeling, and master data management. 

What will you do?  

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define their business intelligence needs and work with data engineers to develop solutions 

  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize data visualizations and other self-service tools to provide actionable insights that enhance business decision making 

  • Own the development, maintenance, and reporting of consumer surveys deployed through Qualtrics 

  • Set up tools and processes for effective data management and quality assurance 

  • Leverage full range of Tableau platform technologies to design and implement production ready solutions and create advanced BI visualizations 

  • Champion utilization of business intelligence technology across functional roles throughout the organization 

  • Set up automated processes and tools for proactive data governance and quality assurance and contribute to other data governance initiatives 

  • Perform analysis and identify trends that can be turned into actionable insights 

What do you need to succeed?   

  • Strong proficiency in Tableau or a similar Data Visualization tool 
  • Experience with SQL to query data efficiently 
  • Proficiency in Python required 
  • Experience with Qualtrics or other survey tools preferred 
  • Experience with Data Governance processes and tools preferred 
  • Must be curious and have a self-driven enthusiasm for figuring out solutions 
  • Ability to synthesize numerous data sets to present clear insights to stakeholders 
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and develop various projects at different stages 
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to build alignment among customers and key stakeholders with demonstrated experience influencing without authority

Pay Range
$65,000$105,000 USD
