Meet the team:
Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare? At Dexcom, our Sales team is focused on expanding our impact and driving growth. We’re seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead innovative strategies that align with our core values and ambitious growth objectives. 

The person will lead a team of 7 Sales Territory Managers, and will be based in Madrid.
 
Where you come in:  
 

  • Market & Industry Insight: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diabetes care, market trends, healthcare regulations, and competitor activities to support strategic decisions.
  • Customer & Patient Understanding: Understand Dexcom’s customer segments and patient needs, including barriers and drivers of adoption.
  • Product & Therapy Expertise: Stay current on Dexcom products and diabetes therapy, regularly completing clinical and product assessments.
  • Strategic Business Planning: Define and execute regional business plans, analyze market share data, and meet sales targets through effective planning and tool utilization.
  • Territory & Account Management: Identify key accounts, manage tender processes, and align territory activities with Dexcom’s strategic goals.
  • Sales Execution: Develop tailored call plans, engage with healthcare professionals, and drive product recommendations using Dexcom’s sales process.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Managers, Market Access, Clinical, and Training teams to achieve account objectives and maximize impact.
  • Compliance & Administration: Ensure accurate CRM usage, timely reporting, budget management, and adherence to Dexcom’s policies and ethical standards.

 
 
What makes you successful: 
• Proficiency in English 
• Proven ability to work in a matrix organisation
• Strong sales experience managing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills
• Proven track record for achieving targets and delivering success

• Experience of analysing data– collates, organizes and interprets data in order to provide clear and comprehensible information 
• Competent user of a variety of computer software packages, including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
• Understanding of CRM systems
• Full driving license
• Experience in Diabetes market

Travel Required:  
• 50 to 75 %  in Spain
 
Experience and Education Requirements: 
•  Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 13+ years of industry experience
•  5-8 years of previous people management experience
