Key Responsibilities

1. Production IT Support

• Provide real-time IT support for manufacturing production lines, including system login issues, terminal failures, network connectivity, and system access problems.
• Perform routine checks, deployments, version upgrades, and troubleshooting for production applications and automation-related systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, automation, and application teams to quickly identify and resolve production-impacting IT issues.

2. Daily IT Service and Desktop Support

• Install, configure, and maintain IT assets including PCs, laptops, workstations, printers, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain and support meeting room equipment, audio/video conferencing systems, and telephone infrastructure.
• Execute device imaging, software deployment, and endpoint configuration.

3. Scripting and Automation Support

• Develop or maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Shell, or equivalent languages to support log processing, data extraction, scheduled tasks, and workflow automation.
• Assist in building lightweight internal tools to improve IT operations efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
• Support data analysis activities through scripting or structured query languages when required.

4. Infrastructure Support

• Assist in basic maintenance of LAN/WLAN, switches, servers, storage, and database systems under guidance from infrastructure teams.
• Support IT equipment room inspections, hardware lifecycle tasks, and monitoring alert handling.
• Coordinate with network/system teams for port activation, patch panel updates, and equipment changes.

5. Ticketing and Documentation

• Handle IT tickets through ITNow/ServiceNow, ensuring timely recording, classification, resolution, and closure.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements or automation enhancements.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.

Experience

• 1–3 years of IT-related work experience; experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, or similar production environments is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in production IT support or system deployment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Familiar with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, including user, service, and basic system administration.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language: Python, PowerShell, Shell, etc.
• Ability to read and understand English technical documentation and operate English-based systems or tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common IT support tools.
