We are looking for a dynamic and experienced International (Senior) Product Manager (m/f/d) to lead a critical care product portfolio on a global scale. As the expert for Fresenius Medical Care's AKI therapy systems, you will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives, product development, and market penetration strategies. The focus here is on a complete therapy system consisting of hardware, software, consumables, and treatment application. This position offers an exciting opportunity to improve patient outcomes and advance healthcare innovation.
Your assignments
- Business support: respond to product- and therapy-specific inquiries from sales & marketing and assist with tender specifications and customer requests
- Product Strategy: develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for AKI systems in alignment with the company's goals, market trends, and customer needs in the sector of Critical Care, as well as supporting global go-to-market strategies and market introductions
- Product Development: collaborate closely with cross-functional and agile teams, including engineers, designers, and clinicians, to drive the end-to-end product development process. Translate customer needs into product specifications and user stories
- Global footprint: exchange closely with our country organizations and business partners located in more than 90 countries. Drive revenue growth and profitability of the critical care product portfolio globally
- Product Launch: support product launches to ensure business success and customer satisfaction. Be the expert in your products whilst challenging sales teams to be exceptional in how they communicate the features & benefits of our portfolio
- Presence in the field: be an important part of our success story and the future growth of our business. Make an impact by getting to know our customers and colleagues by attending hospitals and congress events
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in natural or engineering science, preferably with focus on medical technology
- Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, preferably with focus on active medical devices and a good understanding of technical matters
- Experience with extracorporeal blood purification procedures, dialysis relevant product & therapy knowledge, or intensive care technology would be an advantage
- Having a commercial mindset, prior medical device sales experience would be an advantage
- High level of cross-cultural knowledge to align product and therapy topics on a global level and to efficiently collaborate to solve problems
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, to clearly present ideas and solutions, and to keep colleagues and stakeholders informed
- Willingness for occasional business trips globally (up to 30% of working time)
- Fluent in English, in written and spoken, knowledge of German and further languages would be a plus
