Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineering Lead with a proven track record in the design, development, maintenance, and operation of scalable, high-performance serverless framework technology platforms, incorporating RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations, primarily utilizing JavaScript Frameworks and Libraries, and Salesforce. This is a hands-on technical leadership position which includes developing full-stack technologies while managing, leading, and developing an international engineering team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Leads, directs, and manages the Engineering Team including its strategic, tactical, and operational activities.
• Coordinates, leads, and actively participates throughout the entire lifecycle of all Engineering projects, including technical requirements gathering, resource allocation, design and documentation, scheduling, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support.
• Collaborates closely and regularly with the other teams, including Project Management, Data and Quality, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Customer Service.
• Designs, develops, and maintains core technology strategy, architecture, and code, and leads other engineers by example.
• Helps develop, maintain, and enforce the company’s software development tools and standards, and conducts design and code reviews on a regular basis to improve quality and ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development, specifically with full stack web application development in JavaScript, Typescript, and Serverless Framework.
• Solid experience programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.
• Ability to influence key stakeholders and implement effective change management.
• Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to give and receive feedback in a startup environment.
• Ability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design.

Bonus Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce Development and Integration
• Experience with Loan Management Systems or Financial System Development and Integration
