About Us:

We are an Independent Insurance Brokerage firm that works with all the major Insurance Companies in the country. Our specialty is Property & Casualty Insurance in personal and commercial lines of business. We represent the top carriers in the nation. We are looking for an experienced account manager to assist in the servicing and growth of our personal lines book of business.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the servicing and managing of personal lines insurance.  Knowledge of personal insurance in CA and FL markets is a plus. Prior experience in independent agency environment is recommended, but not required. This position requires a P&C license (resident state, along with state of CA (if candidate is outside of CA). This is a full-time remote position (M-F, 8am-5pm PST). Starting compensation is $60k/year + Commission + Bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and develop customer relationships and follow up with clients in a timely manner.

  • Marketing/Quoting new business and renewal submissions.

  • Provide prompt, accurate and friendly service.

  • Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, and policy changes.

  • Become familiar with products, services and systems and participate in training provided by the agency.

  • Contribute to individual goals and agency success through cross-selling and new initiative.

Requirements:

  • If residence is outside California, must have a nonresident license in California

  • Property and Casualty insurance license required.

  • Pass background check (Some exceptions determined by the DOI)

  • Customer Service Experience (Preferred)

  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good operational computing skill/typing 50+ WPM (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Browsers)

  • Confident self-starter who works well independently

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to multi-task
