The Opportunity

The Investment Marketing Specialist is responsible for helping to delivering best-in-class product marketing to promote Fidelity’s brand, products, and services to advisors. As a member of the Investment Marketing team, you will help contribute to Asset Under Management (AUM) growth by supporting the expansion of our Continuing Education (CE) Credits program, events and the management of the sales enablement content library.

Leveraging their understanding of investment products, the Investment Marketing Specialist helps ensures our products and solutions are effectively positioned for advisor audiences.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Supporting the growth of our Continuing Education (CE) credits program.

  • Working with Products and Marketing and Sales to support various types of sales enablement collateral for advisor audiences (e.g., emails, PowerPoints, Though Leadership, POVs) to scalable marketing material (e.g., articles, web copy).

  • Curate monthly edition of Fidelity’s advisor newsletter pulling from our existing library of Thought Leadership (Fidelity Perspectives, Regulatory Updates, Fixed Income Perspectives, etc.).

  • Project manage the annual fund awards programs in conjunction with the product research (Lipper, Fund Data, etc.).

  • Support marketing projects for cross functional team such as Sales, Operations, Client Services and National Accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with communication policies, procedures, and brand standards.

  • Maintains content inventory as assigned by the Manager, Investment Marketing.


The Expertise You Bring

  • Have or be able to quickly develop—a deep working knowledge of all prioritized investments (mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives) and non-investment products and the implications of market events on advisor clients.

  • An exceptional communicator who can leverage data to identify themes, build a narrative and secure buy-in.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure operational compliance in a highly regulated environment with supervision from Manager to ensure compliance requirements are maintained.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment, changing focus and priorities.

  • Ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders up, down, and across the organization.


What We are Looking For

  • University degree (bachelor’s degree) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience gained in a marketing or communications function.

  • Experience working within the asset management industry or similar financial services organization would be an asset.
