What this job involves
Facilities Manager serves as the second site in-charge responsible for Facilities Management Services. This role supports the Senior Facilities Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring service quality compliance, and maintaining effective communication between stakeholders.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Supervisory Role

  • Act as second in-charge of on-site staff

  • Serve as intermediary between Contractor and Venue Operation Team when Senior Facilities Manager is absent


Operations Management

  • Oversee performance of soft services

  • Ensure smooth communication during events and activities

  • Manage facilities teams to meet SLA compliance and KPI targets


Communication and Coordination

  • Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders

  • Coordinate with Relevant Authorities as needed

  • Implement quality control measures and ensure timely service delivery


Maintenance and Support

  • Monitor building and facilities maintenance activities

  • Provide on-site support for events and special functions

  • Assist in vendor procurement and performance management

Documentation and Reporting

  • Help establish performance targets and prepare management documents

  • Support budget estimation and financial reporting processes

  • Attend meetings and prepare reports as required


Additional Duties

  • Conduct routine property inspections

  • Available for night shifts, holidays, and emergency response

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks delegated by the Authority

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

  • Degree/Higher Diploma in Facility Management and/or Property Management or equivalent

  • Minimum 8 years of FM/PM experience with at least 3 years in manager-level positions at similar-scale venues

  • Preferably holds relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFM, FMP, MHKIH, MRICS, IFMA, RPHM, PMP Tier 1)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
