Security Cooperation Program Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Provide comprehensive security cooperation planning subject matter expertise to the U.S. Air Force in the Indo-Pacific. Lead efforts to design security cooperation projects supporting U.S Air Force security cooperation initiatives, plans, programs, and concepts of operations to actualize U.S. INDOPACOM and USAF priorities for partner nations. Assist with scope, budget and schedule security cooperation projects supporting security cooperation initiatives and proposals in coordination with project stakeholders. Maintain responsibility for ensuring the appropriate resources are requested, justified, allocated, and maintained to facilitate the successful completion of projects. Manage project stakeholders within the Security Cooperation Community of Interest to facilitate design and execution. Manage risk associated with security cooperation projects make recommendations to address issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working with DoD security cooperation or security assistance
  • 4+ years of experience with project management
  • Experience in assisting with the development of scope, schedule and budget, managing stakeholders, addressing risk, tracking status, and reporting results
  • Knowledge of security cooperation and security assistance programs and authorities
  • Knowledge of past, present, and emerging building partner capacity approaches
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with USINDOPACOM area of responsibility preferred
  • Experience as a security cooperation implementer, planner, or manager
  • Experience with DoD SC data management systems like SOCIUM, SCIP or SANWeb
  • Experience at a component or headquarters level of military command
  • Experience with researching and analyzing federal regulations related to security cooperation
  • Knowledge of formal DoD and USAF staffing processes
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, work independently and as part of a team, analyze complex data, and prioritize task
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Master’s degree in International Relations or Foreign Policy
  • Completion of Defense Institute for Security Cooperation Studies (DISCS) training


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
