23andMe is seeking an experienced Director of Technical Program Management to lead the program management function for our Consumer business. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the successful execution of projects in two core areas: user-facing feature releases from our Consumer roadmap in areas such as Health, Ancestry, and Telehealth; and internal systems and processes operated by our CEI (Compute and Enterprise Infrastructure) group. You will be leading a team of technical and non-technical program managers with domain expertise across both of these core areas.
This is a highly cross-functional and collaborative role; you will directly support the Product, Engineering, Marketing, and CEI groups, but will also interface with other groups such as Legal, Privacy, Research, and Finance on a per-project basis. We’re looking for a leader who loves to bring structure and clarity to complex projects, drives success through clear communication and simple, well-defined processes, and consistently manages cross-team execution to land deliverables on time and within budget.
