What you can expect

As a Data Developer, you will design, build, and implement critical processes for the subscription-based billing system. This person will partner with teams including e-commerce, Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, Data engineering, etc to architect solutions. The ideal candidate needs to have a thorough understanding of PL/SQL and relational world. SaaS/Subscription business models using cloud-native technologies. About the Team

We’re problem-solvers, working at a fast pace to design solutions with our customers and users in mind. Here, you’ll work across teams to deliver solutions to refine the SaaS selling model for Zoom products, managing the sales lifecycle from Quote to Cash. You would be developing and enhancing the way the entire ecosystem communicates and caters to increasing the overall MRR.

What we’re looking for

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code, writing complex queries and optimizing them for performance and efficiency

• Ensure the integrity, performance, and security of PL/SQL applications while performing data modeling and relational database design

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate them with REST-based APIs

• Oversee database schema design, indexing, and partitioning to optimize performance. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency

• Conduct regular database audits and maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and migrations

• Be open to working within a closed-stack system built on the Zuora Platform, supporting customer subscription and billing journey management for SaaS products. Hands-on experience with the Zuora platform is preferred

• Demonstrate knowledge of HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, or Liquid scripting is an advantage. Experience with any RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server is required

• Demonstrate familiarity with DevOps processes and agile methodologies to support continuous integration and development practices
