We're seeking a motivated IT Specialist to provide desktop support across Windows, macOS, and Linux, mobile device support for remote and hybrid workers, and manage onboarding/offboarding. You'll also help administer cloud applications and identity integrations.

The ideal candidate has strong endpoint and mobile support experience, values excellent employee experiences, and drives process improvements. Cloud identity knowledge (SSO, SCIM) is a plus.

This is an full time, in office role based in our Raleigh, NC headquarters, requiring 5 days per week in the company office (Monday - Friday).

 

What you will do:

• Desktop Support:
  • Provide hands-on support for Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints, including laptops, peripherals, and office equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve OS, driver, and application issues, with clear and empathetic communication.
  • Mobile Workforce Support:
    • Company supported mobile application support for remote and hybrid employees
    • Ensure secure, reliable access to company resources from remote locations.
    • Create simple guides and self-serve resources for common mobile workflows.
• Onboarding and Offboarding:
  • Own the end-to-end experience, including hardware provisioning, account creation, access configuration, and in-person new hire setup.
  • Coordinate timely offboarding, including device collection, access revocation, and data handling.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date tips, checklists and guides.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline employee support.
  • Contribute to documentation, FAQs, and standards to improve consistency and speed.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT team on projects and initiatives.
• Cloud Apps and Identity:
  • Help administer common SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and others.
  • Assist with app provisioning and group membership changes.
  • Exposure to identity standards such as SSO and SCIM, partnering with senior teammates on integrations.

What you will bring:

• 3+ years in an IT Support or similar experience with strong endpoint support responsibilities
• Demonstrated experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux desktops
• Proven troubleshooting for laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals, and common business software
• Experience supporting remote users and mobile devices, ideally with an MDM solution
• Familiarity with administering common SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta Identity Management
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a bias for clear documentation and follow-through
• A genuine passion for technology and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with identity and access concepts including SSO and SCIM
• Exposure to endpoint management tools
• Basic scripting for automation, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Familiarity with cloud directory services environments
