Our portfolio is growing, and we're looking for an exceptional individual to join our finance team to assist with fund accounting, portfolio data management, portfolio valuation and periodic regulatory reviews and audits. This person will help pave the path for best practices across the industry and raise the operational standards in the emerging blockchain investment sphere.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review daily transactions and portfolio performance metrics

  • Assist with reviewing monthly NAV process

  • Manage third party relationships (fund administrator, auditor, valuation provider)

  • Assist with quarterly valuation process

  • Assist with annual audit process and fund’s financial statements

  • Assist administrators with FACTA & CRS compliance

  • Contribute to regulatory filings or audits (SEC, CFTC or IRS/FTB, etc.)

  • Support investor relations team with recurring investor reporting deadlines and ad-hoc reporting requests. 

  • Perform compliance review of finance policy & procedures

  • Drive efficiencies and build out new process

  • Special projects, as needed

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience with fund accounting, ideally in a complex, high-volatility space like a hedge fund or venture capital firm

  • A robust foundation in accounting practices

  • Facility working across departments as part of a small, agile team

  • Genuine curiosity about the wide-ranging implications of blockchain technology on the way governments and financial markets operate
