JR64360 Fab 10 Facilities Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond and problem solving of system issues and production interruptions to mechanical related systems

  • Plan, design and lead mechanical engineering projects includes new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement

  • Identification, evaluation and potential implementation of advanced technology on Mechanical systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability efforts

  • Perform capacity tracking and planning for mechanical systems

  • Enforce to company’s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work.

  • Utilize computer base software to document and analyses records of maintenance work order, equipment history and project tracking.

  • Plan and ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for Facilities mechanical systems including HVAC, exhaust systems, scrubbers, process cooling water, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressed air systems, Fire protection system and cleanroom air systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability

  • Identification and enablement of smart technologies and AI for improvement of managed tasks, i.e.: project tracking, maintenance overviews, budget tracking, etc.

  • To be capable in quality tool such as 8D & 5 WHY analysis for troubleshooting or incident management.

  • To perform and manage procurement task for the facilities system equipment upkeep.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering

  • General technical and functional knowledge of mechanical system for critical environment

  • Design and Engineering background of mechanical system such as HVAC system, Exhaust system will be of good advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve positive results and outcome

  • Has growth mindset, prioritize adaptability, innovation and ongoing learning.
