Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare Helsinki site is a center of excellence for manufacturing healthcare equipment. The products from Helsinki are shipped to customers across the world every day, where they help support lives in the moments that matter.

We are looking for a Summer Intern to join our Order Consolidation & Pick Release team for the summer, preferably from May to August. Your role is to assist in allocating ready-to-pick products to specific customer orders and order consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and communicating order requirements
• Releasing orders to be picked in the warehouse
• Communicating between different stakeholders in a global setting

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's student in the field of Logistics, Supply Chain or other related field
• Minimum age 18 years
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills
• Flexibility, responsibility, eye for detail, able to work under pressure
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
• Fluency in Finnish and in English (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
• EU work permit

• Oracle knowledge and experience
• Self-starter, eager and quick to learn
• Dangerous goods training/knowledge (especially air transportation)
• Ability to support in development tasks
• Problem solving skills
