Job purpose:

As an Accountant 3 you would lead the month‑end closing for a specific European region, manage General Ledger activities, and driving process improvements across all accounting areas.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and oversee month‑end closings.

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

• Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory accounting.

• Ensure accuracy and compliance across all financial processes.

• Participate in meetings with stakeholders and provide updates.

• Support and guide junior accountants within the team.

• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

• Work with SAP and Excel to manage and analyze financial data.

• Collaborate with the wider European accounting teams.

• Maintain high performance during the 5‑day closing period.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

• Strong background in accounting.

• Excellent command of Excel (advanced level).

• Experience with SAP.

• High level of English (mandatory).

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

• Proactive mindset with interest in process improvement and optimization.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure during closing periods.

• Team‑oriented, supportive, and willing to mentor junior colleagues.

• Clear communication skills and confidence in stakeholder interactions.
