What you’ll do
Subject matter expert (SME) in key supply chain and financial processes, including inventory revaluation, standard costing, financial closing & reporting.
Lead a team of analysts to execute monthly closing activities to ensure compliance to USGAAP and Statutory requirements, communicate inventory monthly results to key internal stakeholders.
Initiate, sponsor and lead projects with global impact and cross functional involvement to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency and controls around factory and services warehouse inventory, inventory turns, and inventory aging & obsolescent risks. Present progress and results to senior finance leaders, leads and supports change management.
Lead and supervise Obsolescence Inventory and FIFO revaluation planning, pacing, present overall results to Supply Chain Operations Finance and Manufacturing Finance leader.
Cooperate with technical controllership and sites to enhance key controls, roles & responsibilities, standardize and automate reports around monthly actuals, physical inventory counts, cycle counts, slow moving/obsolescent inventory, and FIFO
Partner with key stakeholders to develop harmonized standard global operating procedures in complex matrixed, operating environment
Communicate and align global calendar to inventory and standard costing rhythms across GSC Finance and Supply Chain Operations Finance teams (annual PIs, budget, etc)
Supervise annual Physical Inventory Stocktake process, act as an escalation point for team members and focal point towards External auditors, ensure audit support documents are made available in time and in required quality by the team, able to explain process and results to auditors together with team members.
Effectively communicates current state and future state processes & controls, develop roadmap and execute roadmap actions to align system/process differences across global supply chain to drive harmonized global standard work.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance / equivalent knowledge or experience
Major relevant experience in the field of finance
People leadership experience
Knowledge of accounting policies and practices, including US GAAP and inventory
Prior knowledge of manufacturing system ERPs (i.e. SAP, Oracle, BAAN) and with digital and automation tools such as Tableau, RPA
Fluent English knowledge is essential
