Job Description:
The Student, Insurance Operations Associate will support the operational teams by assisting with new business application reviews, work distribution activities, and administrative support. This role is ideal for a student interested in operations, workflow management, and business process improvement.
Work Term : May 4 - August 28, 2026
What will you do?
1. New Business Application Support
Assist with initial review of new business applications for accuracy and completeness
Validate required documentation and identify missing information
Prepare applications for underwriting review following established guidelines
Maintain accuracy standards while working within service-level expectations
Collaborate with team members and leaders to resolve discrepancies and escalate as needed
2. Work Distribution Support
Support daily routing of work across team queues
Assist with monitoring work volumes and identifying bottlenecks
Coordinate with team leads and SLGSI Work Distribution resources to keep workflows moving efficiently
Maintain logs, trackers, and routing templates for transparency and audit readiness
Provide general administrative support related to workflow distribution processes
3. General Administrative Support
Assist leaders with scheduling, documentation, and communication
Maintain shared folders, reference materials, and operational trackers
Support ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned
What do you need to succeed?
This opportunity is available to students with a August 2026 or later graduation date
Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program (Business, Insurance, Analytics, or related fields preferred)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with data and reporting tools (Excel experience an asset)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
Bilingualism in French is an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
