As a Network Engineer you will:
•    The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated engineer with a passion for designing and building networks that integrate Hardware and Software into customer solutions 
•    The individual’s primary responsibilities include network related designs and installs, Voice and Data redundancy testing, and documentation of current and proposed network solutions
•    Position requires extensive hands-on technical expertise coupled with ingenuity, product knowledge, industry knowledge, and communication skills
•    Evaluate integration requirements and site readiness for new product installations
•    Maintain a thorough understanding of CDK products, processes, and customer needs

Responsibilities
•    Work closely with US-based project management, network install, and sales teams in a collaborative environment.
•    Be part of a team of world-class engineers having a large impact on the automotive industry in North America.
•    Provide design and install services for complex network and/or telephony integration projects.
•    Conduct detailed client network discovery and needs assessments.
•    Identify opportunities for product solutions for unique customer needs.
•    Create physical and logical network and/or telephony designs for complex environments, including detailed physical and logical design documentation.
•    Assist US-based teams on both CDK and non-CDK network centric product installations.
•    Assist with generating network proposals by partnering with the CDK sales organization to respond to customer needs. 
•    Identify opportunities to automate manual configuration tasks leveraging emerging technologies. 
•    Responsible for pre-testing network, security, telephony configurations prior to going live on customer production networks. 

General qualifications
•    BTech/BE or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience installing networks required, preferably in Cisco Voice and Data networking environments
•    Must demonstrate a fluent command of the English language in both verbal and written communications
•    Must be willing to have daily contact with US-based team members as required
•    Technical certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, or MCSE preferred
•    Ability to use software applications including the MS office suite and Visio
•    Experience working as part of onshore/offshore teams is highly desirable 
•    Must possess a passion for technology with the ability to be self-directed, highly motivated, and be able to set priorities with minimal supervision.
