The Innovation manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and evaluating new industry trends and business opportunities across Euronext's business lines. This role involves continuous monitoring of market trends, evolution of client needs, competitor activities, and technological advancements and cross-business line opportunities. The Innovation Manager will work closely with various departments, including business lines, government affairs, and technology, and with a network of external partners, to identify and incubate potential projects until they are ready to be integrated into a specific business line.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Market Monitoring

• Conduct continuous analysis of capital market trends, macroeconomic and geopolitical developments.
• Analyse competitor activities, regulatory changes which could represent business opportunities and technological advancements.
• Maintain a comprehensive market watch to identify emerging business opportunities and threats.
• Develop relationships with Euronext client network on the innovation trends.

2.       Opportunity Identification and Execution

• Collaborate with business lines, government affairs, and technology teams to identify cross-business organic growth opportunities.
• Evaluate potential partnerships with clients, fintechs, business and technology partners to enhance business growth.
• When relevant, organise business innovation projects prioritization, planning and resources validation with the extended managing board and business lines leaders.

3.       Project Leadership

•         Lead transverse business innovation projects from investigation and incubation stages to integration into business lines.

•         Develop and manage business innovation project plans, timelines, and budgets.

•         Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

4.       Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for innovation initiatives.
• Develop an active external network across clients, partners and regulators to support Euronext innovation activities
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to drive successful project outcomes.

5.       Reporting and Analysis

•         Prepare regular reports and presentations on market trends, opportunities, and innovation project progress for senior management.

•         Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making on organic growth initiatives.
