How you’ll make an impact:

  • Undertake assigned tasks, such as testing issues, machine issues, CAPA, non-conformances, and audit observations, with a diverse and complex scope that requires analysis, data, and in-depth evaluations. These tasks support the design, prototyping, assembly, and development of improvements and/or automation of existing processes and mechanical components.
  • Lead the design activities, analysis, modification, and integration of robotics, automation technologies, and processes related to equipment. Ensures applicability to programs and products, handling moderate complexities.
  • Lead internal experiments within the group to analyze complex problems and make informed technical decisions and strategic paths.
  • Lead improvement activities within the group to drive enhancements and improve efficiency. Utilize metrics to perform continuous improvement.
  • Lead the identification and selection of effective engineering methods and techniques to obtain solutions during troubleshooting or investigation of issues, such as testing problems, machine issues, CAPA, non-conformances, and audit observations.
  • Train, coach, and guide lower level employees on technical task.
  • Develop moderately complex experiments and tests (including writing and executing protocols) to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports.
  • Oversee support tasks; give instruction to technicians on conducting tests; train technicians and provide feedback; and coordinate technician work.
  • Other incidental duties assigned by seniors/supervisor.

What you’ll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field with at least 5 years in automation domain
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating out-of-the-box thinking and creativity.

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Strong documentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, with experience in consulting, relationship management, and delivering technical presentations
  • Solid understanding of statistical techniques, engineering principles, theories, and concepts, as well as processes and equipment used in assigned work; familiarity with FDA regulations for the medical device industry is an advantage
  • Proven problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking abilities, consistently applying professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex challenges creatively and effectively
  • High attention to detail and ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels
  • Skilled at managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Effective team collaborator with experience managing vendors, project stakeholders, and building networks beyond own area of expertise
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to influence change and drive results
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
