This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer I, Warehouse Automation to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of warehouse automation solutions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and is enthusiastic in building solutions that intersect human labor, robotics, and software product development.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business needs and identify process enhancement opportunities
  • Develop and optimize fulfillment center automation processes from concept to deployment.
  • Analyze data to model processes, identify bottlenecks and forecast productivity
  • Track and manage key performance metrics such as system fail rate, uptime, order split rate, packaging cost, and UPH to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement process workflows, system integrations, and automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and operator experience.
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution and scalable solutions.
  • Conduct testing, gather user feedback, and adjust processes based on performance outcomes and usability.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, user manuals, and training materials to support smooth adoption and integration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
  • Experience with fulfillment center Goods-to-Person automation is a plus.
  • Experience in SQL is preferred.

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-83,000
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits 
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
