Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the business needs, designing and developing applications using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, and ensuring the applications meet the required specifications. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any application issues that arise, as well as providing support and maintenance for existing applications. Your creativity and technical expertise will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design and develop applications using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Collaborate with the team to understand business process and application requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve any application issues that arise. - Provide support and maintenance for existing applications. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Continuously improve application performance and efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with PySpark and Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of data analytics and data processing. - Experience in designing and building scalable and reliable applications. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Ability to write efficient and optimized code. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
