Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
· Lead HR policy implementation and interpretation.
· Assist with addressing employee and manager questions related to policies, programs and employee relations.
· Ensure effective communication of all HR programs and initiatives to employees and managers across Canada, including facilitation of sessions in English and French.
· Participate in HR harmonization and transformation programs, with a focus on Change Management.
· Participate in union negotiations, and own partnership with Canada unions.
· Assist in the development and execution of HR strategies and initiatives, focusing on specific tasks and support activities.
· Assist with HR reporting, analysis and data management, including collaboration with local Compliance Officer on compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
· 5-7 years of relevant work experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
· Proven experience in HR project management and strategy support
· Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis (preferably Workday)
· Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
· Strong knowledge in Canada legislation, compliance and law
· Canada Union experience preferred
· Bilingual (English/French), successful candidate will support the Quebec workforce and facilitate employee sessions, as needed
