Senior Project Manager Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing company and lead us in the successful execution of various projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee complex projects from inception to completion. Your focus will be on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Senior Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

· Manage every aspect of a project from initiation to closure, including defining objectives, analyzing needs, planning and implementation, risk assessment, operationalizing solutions, determining, and documenting project benefits, developing project plans, and project status communication.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

· Develop and maintain a detailed project plan using project management software and tools, to include documenting timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

· Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues through regular risk assessments and contingency planning.

· Facilitate clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders.

· Monitor project progress and track deadlines and milestones.

· Report project status to stakeholders regularly and address any concerns.

· Monitor project performance with the best available tools.

· Maintain comprehensive documentation of the entire project.

· Lead regular meetings to determine project progress, roadblocks, challenges, etc., and identify solutions and next steps.

· Review project deliverables for quality standard adherence.

Senior Project Manager Skills/Requirements

· Minimum of 5 years of project management work experience.

· Exceptional leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.

· Working knowledge of various project management methodologies (Waterfall/Agile).

· Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

· Strategic thinking and leadership are crucial in driving project success and aligning them with our business goals.

· Demonstrated blend of business, IT, and financial skills.

· Experience in leading change initiatives and managing organizational change.

· Attention to detail.

· Proficient with Office 365.

· Advanced knowledge of project management software such as Smartsheet, JIRA or other project tracking tools.

· PMP and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certificate is preferred, but not required.
