Development Engineer Connectivity

In this role you support the design, realization, and verification of wireless IoT connectivity solutions for Philips Healthcare products and systems.

Your role:

• Support the design, realization, and verification of wireless IoT connectivity solutions, in a pre-development context, working under the guidance of senior connectivity engineers

• (In-context) Characterization and testing of proposed solutions (e.g. on link quality), and documentation of the results

• Contribute to the integration of selected solutions into the products and systems, together with other disciplines such as (embedded) software, and electronics

You're the right fit if:

• Experience with / basic understanding of the implementation and verification of IoT Connectivity standards (such as 4G/5G, LTE CAT M1, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, BLE)

• Demonstratable track record of applying a structured and precise way of working, with a customer-centric, problem-solving attitude

• A Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Electronic Engineering

• Good oral and written communication skills in English

• Experience in embedded software development (C++) and/or Python is a plus
