Who we are:

Shape a brighter financial future with us.

Together with our members, we’re changing the way people think about and interact with personal finance.

We’re a next-generation financial services company and national bank using innovative, mobile-first technology to help our millions of members reach their goals. The industry is going through an unprecedented transformation, and we’re at the forefront. We’re proud to come to work every day knowing that what we do has a direct impact on people’s lives, with our core values guiding us every step of the way. Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world.

Who we are

SoFi isn't just a bank, we are the engine of modern finances. We pioneered the market for student loan refinancing and haven't stopped breaking ground since. This year has been no different, whether it’s rebuilding our infrastructure to help couples manage their money together or being the first regulated bank to offer Crypto (with a stablecoin coming soon). We are the only digital financial app that helps our members borrow, save, spend, invest, and protect their money, all in one place.

Our member-centric approach has earned us top honors including being named Barron's Best Overall Robo-Advisor of 2025 and earning top recognition in NerdWallet’s 2025 Best-Of Awards. Yet our mission to help our members “get their money right" is only just beginning.

Money remains the #1 source of stress for 51% of people, with 66% of Americans still living paycheck to paycheck and only 52% feeling satisfied with their financial situation. We come to work everyday to make those lives a little better.

Who you are

You are as much a technical founder as you are a product manager. You possess a founder's mindset being at your core a problem solver, partner, and AI-Native Builder. You harness the superpowers of AI to move with a speed that defies traditional product management lifecycles, often collapsing the distance between an idea and a functional prototype through vibe-coding and iterative builds.

You bring an entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability, whether from startup or high-growth company environments. You thrive in high-velocity, high-impact environments.

You are an exceptional product leader who has built consumer products at scale, deeply understands what makes experiences intuitive, ships products that people tell their friends about, and is eager to dive into everything from interaction design to retention strategy.

You seek a challenge where the impact is tangible and outside of yourself. Building healthy money habits resonates with you; it’s something you believe in and can see yourself working with others to make real. You think helping a family get out of debt, buy their first home, or support their first child to college is a profound responsibility. You are extremely hands-on, obsessed with user experience, and opinionated about a future where AI genuinely improves people's financial lives.

The tension between rapid progress and high-stakes responsibility feels like a moment you were built to navigate, particularly inside a regulated environment.

Hey - we agree. We’ve got something for you.

What You’ll Do

In one sentence: Do all it takes to turn ideas into validated opportunities and build the next generation of financial products.

The Role

You will move initiatives from "unknown" to "validated" by facilitating the early stages of discovery and definition. You will operate in three primary modes: Influence (setting vision), Partner (accelerating core teams), and Build (executing coded pilots).

You Will

  • Define, develop, and pitch strategic opportunities to get our member’s money right.
  • Build functional prototypes and MVPs both inside and outside of SoFi’s codebase using AI-native workflows (Cursor, Replit, v0, etc.).
  • Act as an "Un-Invasive Innovator," partnering with core engineering and product teams to accelerate their roadmaps without creating organizational friction.
  • Design and implement LLM Evaluation (Eval) suites to measure the success and safety of non-deterministic AI features.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Infrastructure to evolve our stance toward AI product development within regulated businesses.
  • Evangelize the benefits of AI-driven product development, management, and adoption.
  • Contribute the knowledge, skills, and frameworks to drive AI-product development company-wide.
  • Help drive the development of and advocacy for the Sandbox program.

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Founder, with a proven track record of driving 0 to 1 initiatives for high-scale consumer experiences.
  • Proof of Build: A public or private portfolio of functional projects you have personally built or contributed to using AI tools.
  • Mastery of AI Workflows: Deep skills in using LLMs and AI coding tools (vibe-coding) for strategy definition, requirements gathering, and iterative development.
  • Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and data systems to ensure AI-assisted contributions are performant and secure.
  • Experience driving product at a highly-consumer driven company.

Nice to haves

  • Founded or grown a business or side hustle as a product thinker.
  • Been a first PM within a small-to-midsized startup.
  • Experience driving impact within a highly-regulated industry (Fintech, Healthtech, etc.).
  • Professional background in Design or Engineering.
  • Experience with Agentic AI architectures and RAG implementations.
