Technical Adisor - Piping Layout

Senior Layout Engineer who possess experience in working within the piping design team on Offshore projects and ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing the execution of the project.

 Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of Layout pipe specifications
• Developing Overall plot plan and Unit plot plan
• Reviewing vendor package
• 3D Model reviews
• Review and approving of Isometrics production and Piping GADs
• Progress monitoring of  3D Model
• Maintaining Quality check records
• Provide input to area lead for project progress report preparation, raise change logs, raise technical queries, and project lesson learnt.
• Maintain deliverable specific to assigned design area.
• Training of designers

Required Education, Experience, & Skills: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge in E3D,  MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation
• Experience in Fixed Platform and FPSO is minimum requirement.
• Good communications skills & coordination with various disciplines, across different centres and  vendors.
• 15-20 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities

Experience with  Shell DEP/ Qatar Petroleum (QP), or other Middle East  Projects will be considered an added advantage.
