Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics (formerly Marken, MNX & Polar Speed), the clinical and advanced therapy subsidiary of UPS Healthcare, unites expertise across healthcare and complex secure logistics to drive the success of our clients through innovation.

Main Purpose:

Manage the Marken warehouse and stocks. Ensure the efficient use of packaging and supplies available in the warehouse in order to satisfy client and internal requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform diligent scanning/time registration of all shipments coming in and going out of the warehouse.
• Check all incoming shipment against the manifest: confirm proper pieces and weight
• Replenish shipments as required based on temperature requirements
• Learn Transportation Management System (TMS) in order to update milestones accordingly

General

• Create pre alerts to agents based on location- ensure all pieces are scanned out and manifested- create flight plans for shipments.
• Reading of temperature monitors and uploading of the temperature data in the Marken TMS
• Take inventory of shipment within facility and ensure they are correctly handled based on temperature, delivery date, special handling instructions
• Escalate all inquiries concerns to senior staff and leadership
• Safe handling of dry ice and shipment replenishment
• Managing On Hold and ‘Not OK to Send’ shipments according to procedures
• Complete GxP documentation logs
• Assist in the dispatch and tendering of shipments to airlines as well as the recovery.
• Identifying product keeping temperature and replenishment needs. Conditioning process for packaging
• Timely preparation of temperature controlled packaging for shipments.
• Prepare shipment papers in accordance to guidelines provided by the company
• Arrange for adequate supply of shipping materials at all times
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
• Control if all warehouse safety rules are always being complied with.
• Daily control of warehouse related KPI’s
• Cleaning, conditioning and proper documenting of packaging equipment and related components (cold packs, phase change materials,…)
• Responsible for reviewing appropriate documentation, labeling and markings as included with each shipment
• Responsible for physically preparing the Next Flight Out shipments.
• Responsible for performing other duties as required helping the Operations Team complete daily tasks.
