Job Description Summary:
PayPal is looking for a Senior Cloud Developer who will be closely working on designing, implementing and managing the PayPal's Public Cloud Infrastructure platform. This engineer will also be closely working with our internal customers in enabling their Public Cloud integrations. This engineer will be working on the latest Cloud technologies in GCP and AWS. In addition to Public Cloud expertise, this engineer will utilize GoLang, Python, Scripting/CLI to develop automated solutions for managing PayPal's Public Cloud Infrastructure.Job Description:
Meet Our Team:
The team which this role reports into is responsible for building the foundational Public Cloud Platform to support the internal PayPal engineering teams in their Public Cloud infrastructure needs, deployments and migrations.

Be able to learn and work with programming languages such as GoLang, Python, and Bash scripting for building automation that integrates with public cloud platforms and tooling.
Be able to work on Cloud infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, and puppet to deploy infrastructure builds and CI/CD pipelines. B
Be involved in supporting Kubernetes platforms like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)/Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) for our customers
Triage any issues in Public Cloud environment and analyze the root cause, mitigate and fix it.
Work well across internal engineering teams, internal customers and product managers in various geo-locations across the world.
Eager to learn new cloud technologies. Be the very first to test them out to help drive innovation within PayPal.
Be able to drive software solutions end to end, from design, implementation, testing to release phase.
Perform and apply high quality software analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance for the PayPal core technology platform.
What You Need to Bring:
A successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience working as a hands on Cloud Developer/Engineer.
Knowledge of Public Cloud technologies and tools which are required to build scalable solutions in Public Cloud Providers like GCP/AWS.
An eagerness to learn new technologies and partner with various teams giving PayPal Public Cloud users the best experience.
A BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
