Job Description:

  • Ensure daily operation functions are running smoothly; achieving productivity and quality metrics thru ongoing communication, coaching and performance management; establishing team goals and monitoring adherence for successful accomplishment.
  • Ensure established processes and protocols are documented, adhered to and kept current and address any discrepancies. Remediate any identified gaps or opportunities.
  • Effectively manage daily transactional production through appropriate work assignments, escalation management, trend analysis and identify continuous improvement opportunities for efficiency, quality and cycle time.
  • Utilize and maintain or create management reporting and trending analysis to inform decisions; including, but not limited to: headcount, business line specific reporting, and operations health.
  • Research systemic and service issues, also providing follow up analysis to key stakeholders to enhance products and tools. Beta test upcoming roll outs. 
  • Conduct dependable and meaningful team meetings and 1:1s to enhance employee understanding and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, business partners, external clients and be a SME resource for internal management

  • Handle administrative functions, such as timecards and absence approvals. 

  • Create and maintain relationships with business partners, key stakeholders/partners. Assist Director of Operations and partner with supervisory staff on various functions.

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource for internal staff, business partners, external clients, and peers. Address transactional issues, process improvements, and procedural issues in a timely manner. Ensure escalation procedures are followed.

  • Propose, plan, and execute projects based on need and approvals. Collaborate with peers and other business partners to ensure project ideas work amongst all departments. Create and manage through individual responsibilities, meetings and deadlines to ensure forward performance on projects. 

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience as a Team Lead. (or equivalent work experience) 

  • Ability to select, hire, train and manage employees to ensure consistent completion of work activities. 

  • Five years of related industry knowledge or operational experience. 

  • Effective time management, organizational, and administrative skills. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, written skills, communications and customer service skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment. 

  • Ability to multi-task to meet long-term and short-term deadlines. 

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; develop alternative solutions for complex situations. 

  • Strong ability to identify problem processes and suggest improvements. 

  • Proficient PC skills including the Microsoft Suite of products. 

  • Professional demeanor. 

  • Stress tolerance. 

  • Initiative 

  • High School diploma. 

 

Preferred: 

  • Related industry knowledge and experience. 

  • Previous experience leading, directing and training others. 

  • Bachelor degree. (or equivalent amount of job-related experience)
