High-Level Responsibilities • Serve as a core contributor within the Pharmacy POD, delivering high-quality backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot. • Work closely with the POD Lead and QE to ensure timely and accurate delivery of features. • Participate in design discussions and provide input on technical decisions for Pharmacy workflows. • Maintain code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve technical challenges. What You Will Do in the Role • Develop backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3, following microservices principles. • Implement unit tests using JUnit 5 and participate in peer code reviews. • Work on cloud-native applications and integrate messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub). • Collaborate with product owners and POD Lead to refine requirements and identify edge cases. • Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. What You Will Bring (Experience) • 3–5 years of backend development experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot 3. • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native development. • Experience with messaging queues and SQL databases (Postgres, MySQL). • Familiarity with JUnit 5, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Nice-to-Have Skills • Exposure to GCP, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD scripting, and Java SWT. Personal Skills & Qualities (Soft Skills) • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Team-oriented approach with a focus on delivering business value
