Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Review and verify import declarations
Receive, verify and request the client or the person responsible for the import process, the documentation and information required to carry out the process of nationalization of the goods.
Send the necessary information for the classification and creation of products to the classification area.
Keep updated the information and dates of each stage of the nationalization process in the opencomex, XXI century, Muisca computer systems, or any other system adopted by the company.
Advise clients in their nationalization processes, maintaining a good relationship with clients, and complying with the company's internal policies.
Organize the daily procedures with the customs import assistant, assigning him the tasks of his function and indicating the order of priority of said tasks with the aim of achieving compliance with the processes, maintaining cordial treatment and teamwork.
Prepare and/or provide reports that clients may require, as well as those required by immediate superiors, coordinators, supervisors, managers.
Organize, classify and file the documents of the operations, in physical or digital form, for the correct documentary traceability, complying, in addition to the internal document management policies, the regulations of the customs operation in terms of preservation and guidelines. of documents.
Respond to the requirements of clients, immediate superiors, coordinators, supervisors and managers.
ACADEMIC PROFILE:
Technologist, technician or student of foreign trade, business international, logistics or related.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certified experience in trading activities outside.
Knowledge and experience with registrations and licenses of import.
Knowledge of customs regulations and their modifications, on issues corresponding to tariff classification, VoBo, Requirements, TLC and determined by controlling entities and regulators in Colombia.
