Thomson Reuters Talent Acquisition APAC team is seeking a new member to be based in Tokyo. About the Role
In the role of Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will:

  • Conduct a consultative intake session with the hiring manager to set expectations and timelines for the recruiting process, create desired candidate profile, develop a sourcing strategy, establish desired communication cadence with the hiring manager and HR teams.
  • Use a variety of sourcing techniques including direct reach, job boards and social media, to obtain a pool of well-qualified candidates and attract the best talent.
  • Screen and interview candidates presenting the best talent to the Hiring teams as well as work with agency partners as required.
  • Consult with the candidate, hiring manager and HR throughout the talent acquisition process in making the final candidate selection for an offer and beyond.
  • Be involved in education workshops and ad hoc projects for internal careers, careers events, continuous improvement and EVP promotions and projects.


About You
You’re a fit for the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner if you have:

  • Five years + recruitment experience, ideally in house within a global Matrix firm.
  • Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Able to form strong trusted relationships quickly with both HR and Hiring Leaders
  • Tech savvy and able to pick up HRIS or ATS systems quickly. Prior experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Able to work fast and accurately under time pressure and manage priorities effectively
  • Enjoy working with a team in APAC and globally to collaborate, lean in and share knowledge.
